Surlyn Reflection Series¨ is a patented alloy of DuPontª Surlyn¨ resin and nylon 6. The resin is derived
from ethylene/methacrylic acid copolymers with many of the same characteristics associated with that class of
olefins, including toughness, stress crack resistance and abrasion and scuff resistance. Nylon 6, the
polyamide, provides superior appearance properties. Stabilizers and colors are added during the
compounding step.
